Visit Saheliyon Ki Bari
While this garden isn’t the most popular location, it still deserves as much attention as the larger landmarks located in Udaipur. It was constructed to accommodate the ladies of the royal court and houses marble pavilions, water lily pools, and fountains all around. The setting is calm and beautiful and is an excellent choice for a romantic visit where you take your time.
Dinner by the Lake
Udaipur is home to some very nice restaurants, from which you can enjoy stunning views of Lake Pichola and the illuminated City Palace when dining out during the evening hours. So, make reservations, dress up, eat traditional cuisine, and enjoy a long and leisurely dinner together, feeling as if you’re in a movie for the entire time you’re at the restaurant.
Day Trip to Kumbhalgarh or Ranakpur
On any free day, you can visit both Kumbhalgarh Fort and the Ranakpur Jain Temples, as each offers a unique experience. The Kumbhalgarh Fort provides breathtaking views from the top of a hill and consists of the longest fort wall in the world. At the same time, the Ranakpur Temple features the most beautifully detailed marble architecture ever created. Both locations offer outstanding opportunities for a wonderful day trip.
